Installing the plugin
What the WordPress AI Agent plugin is for, and what it adds to your site.
WordPress can be read and written through its own API without any plugin. The WordPress AI Agent plugin is for the things WordPress does not expose on its own — chiefly SEO fields, which live wherever your SEO plugin keeps them.
- Download the plugin from your CMS AI Agent account. The download is tied to your subscription.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins, then Add New, then Upload Plugin.
- Choose the file you downloaded and install it.
- Activate it. There is nothing to configure.
What it adds
Three things, and nothing else:
- A way to read and write SEO titles and descriptions, wherever your site keeps them.
- A page that answers the ownership check, so you do not have to upload a file by hand.
- A short summary of the site — its version, how many pages and posts — so your assistant knows what it is looking at.
The plugin holds no password and no key of ours. Deleting it leaves your content exactly as it was.
