Contentful AI App
If you went looking for a Contentful AI app, this is the page you wanted. It explains exactly what Contentful AI Agent is on Contentful, what goes onto your site, and what does not.
Is there a Contentful app to install?
No, and that is deliberate. Nothing of ours goes onto your Contentful site. Contentful AI Agent works through Contentful’s own published interface, which means there is no code of ours running on your server, nothing to keep updated, and nothing left behind if you stop using it.
What you actually do instead
A content management token. A Content Delivery key is not enough — it can only read.
A new entry in Contentful is a draft by design. Publishing is a separate call, and it is one this product never makes.
What the platform does not allow
Contentful is not a website. There is no public address, no page for a visitor, and no redirects — your website is whatever you built on top of the space, and that part is not reachable from here.
Why it works this way
Installing software on somebody’s website is a liability: it has to be updated, it can break on an upgrade, and it keeps running after they stop paying. Where Contentful gives us a published interface, using it is better for you than giving you one more thing to maintain.
Everything above describes what Contentful’s interface offers. None of it is marked verified yet, which in this product means exercised against a live installation with the date recorded.
Common questions
Where do I download the Contentful AI app?
There is nothing to download unless the section above says otherwise. You connect your Contentful site from your account here, and the connection is what does the work.
Will it slow my Contentful site down?
Nothing of ours runs on your Contentful site unless the section above says otherwise, so there is nothing of ours to slow it down. Requests arrive from outside, like any other client of your Contentful interface.
What happens on my Contentful site if I cancel?
Your content stays exactly as it is. You revoke the credential you created, and that is the end of it — nothing of ours remains behind to remove.
